Animals Who Live Without Oxygen

How does it really feel when we are in a place that is dark, cramped and stuffy, so there is tiny oxygen? If we are in a circumstance like that, maybe we will not be ready to survive simply because we need oxygen in respiration.

But evidently, it is not something that is impos
sible for this creature, this animal can reside without oxygen, then who could deny it? not too long ago that scientists have found an animal that can dwell and breed without the slightest require oxygen. The animal was found in the Mediterranean seabed.

Roberto Danovaro, the head of the expedition group explained that the animal was long and only a millimeter in dimensions, it looks like jellyfish wrapped in protective. Earlier, the entire body of multicellular animals have been identified in the sediment was not oxygenated spot referred to as the "lifeless zone" in the black sea.

But this is thought to be remnants of the drowned animals from the area adjacent oxygenated.

Now, the species discovered by the expedition team in the dead zone L'Atalante is a a few species that are nonetheless alive and two of them ended up laying. Scientists do not get these animals to show that they can live without oxygen, but they take their eggs and then inserted into a space that is not oxygenated. The end result, the eggs hatched in an atmosphere that is not oxygenated.

Danovaro has carried out three expeditions in the waters of southern Greece for a 10 years to seem for signs of daily life. Scientists employing sludge samples in the basin and substantial salinity in the Mediterranean sea with a depth of much more than 3250 meters.

Species that for a although known as Spinoloricus, Rugiloricus and Pliciloricus, it has a entire body shape like a jellyfish and memilki protecting shell.

"This is a genuine mystery. How do dwelling items can dwell without oxygen, because until now we believed only microorganisms that can do this, 'says Danovaro.

Meanwhile, Lisa Levin of Scripps Establishment of Oceanography wrote in the journal BMC Biology that this discovery could open up the probability that there are other creatures, like aliens on yet another world
